Revolution for Freedom
Words are a very powerful tool; typography in motion even more so. Words can be animated in ways that invalidate conventional meaning; hard lines can be softened; truth can be shown as well as told; perspectives can be altered. Typography in motion can have a lasting effect, beyond conventional spoken or print-based narratives. Language that is animated makes an impression on the mind, like a well-told story or a poem radiant with empathy. Revolution for Freedom uses motion design and animated typography to give voice to the Palestinian struggle. The language is drawn from a conversation between two Palestinians addressing questions about their Palestinian identity and the plight of their people. Struggle is not part of Palestinian identity. No. Being Palestinian is being part of the struggle for freedom.
