Studio 520

In this collaborative class project and exhibition, students operate like a design studio in designing six objects for a fictional client, Sheila Jones. Prompted with brief information about the client, the class speculated about her character through demographic research, routine building and persona.

Responding to Sheila’s professional passion for arts and crafts and dedication to her backyard and greenhouse, each object presented seeks to incorporate biodegradable materials, cultural interest, and functionality that bridges the interior and exterior of her home. Presented here are images of each proposed concept, each ridden with a backstory of its own.
