ONLY tools
Despite investing in hundreds of automotive tools, technicians often use only a fraction of their tool collection or need to purchase more, leading to inefficiencies and wasted resources. This issue highlights the need for a more purposeful approach to automotive tools. Addressing this challenge, the project introduces an innovative solution—an automotive toolbox tailored for specific car brands. ONLY tools feature four specialized subjects—brakes, hood, wheels, and oil change—each in a slide-out compartment for easy access. Unlike conventional toolboxes offering a generic assortment of tools, this design is curated to include only the essential hand tools required for each maintenance area. By customizing the toolbox according to car make—the project aims to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact. This targeted approach benefits end-users by providing a more intuitive and user-friendly toolset, and it benefits manufacturers by optimizing resource allocation and production efficiency. The project endeavors to revolutionize automotive maintenance practices through this design innovation, setting a new standard for precision, sustainability, and user-centric design in the automotive tool industry.
