TURFxUIC

TURF, based in Chicago, specializes in providing innovative wall and ceiling solutions with a focus on both visual aesthetics and acoustic performance. Using rigid felt boards, TURF effectively addresses interior acoustic challenges while creating visually striking modular installations. Collaborating with UIC, TURF explores the versatility of rigid felt material for lifestyle products such as lighting, furniture, and home objects. Each student involved in the project is tasked with leveraging the unique properties of the material to design and produce one or more creative objects.
