Next Act is a circular packaging system designed to reduce waste in movie theaters.
Theaters generate a lot of waste, especially from concession packaging where grease and oil contamination prevents responsible disposal. With no other viable alternatives, this waste ends up in landfills, contributing to environmental harm.
Next Act reimagines packaging by combining recyclable and compostable materials within a single container. The compostable layer isolates grease and oils, allowing them to be disposed of with other organic waste. A rewards system encourages theatergoers to dispose of packaging properly, creating a more engaging and responsible experience.
By rethinking how packaging is designed, used, and discarded, we can take the Next Act to align the entertainment we enjoy with the needs of our planet.
