Each chair represents a carefully chosen hue rooted in psychological theory, designed to subtly influence mood and perception. Whether arranged as a conversation pit or experienced individually, the chairs encourage people to engage both physically and emotionally, highlighting personal reactions to color in a tangible way.
AVA bridges the gap between design and psychological insight, transforming a simple piece of furniture into a tool for self-discovery. As users sit, shift, and respond to each piece, they are prompted to consider questions: Why am I drawn to this color? How does it make me feel? What does this say about me?
By blending interactive design with accessible psychology, AVA aims to spark curiosity, introspection, and conversation between users. It’s not just about color. It’s about revealing the subtle forces at play in our surroundings and uncovering how we express ourselves without even realizing it.
